Our Process

Step 1: Choose a Style

One of the first steps in ordering your custom architectural concrete product is to select your desired style. We have a variety of examples of our past work in our gallery Alternatively we can assist you in designing something from a sketch or photo and of course, we are happy to work directly with your architect’s or designer’s own drawings. We are extremely versatile and are comfortable working with any style—from modern to traditional.

Step 2: Choose a Colour and a Finish

With several colour samples to choose from, we offer something to suit just about every taste. 

With a wide range of standard finishes, our selection of finishes includes
smooth, board-formed, form-ply, stepped tiles and hand-pressed.

Step 3: Choose a Size

Product size can be dictated by site parameters. As such, we invite you to contact us in the initial design process to answer any questions you may have. If required, we may suggest a site visit to understand your project requirements and help develop a design based on those requirements. Site visits create value for our clients by eliminating potential miscalculations in a project by allowing us to take proper measurements, consider the full product environment, and identify any problems before they occur, thus avoiding any additional costs.

Step 4: Quotation

Once the style, colour/finish, and size of your desired product is finalized, we will put together a quotation of the associated costs to manufacture and install your project. If you are satisfied with the details of your quotation, you may then choose to accept our quotation, we will then do a final site measure if required and provide you with your drawings.

Step 5: Scheduling of Production

Once we receive your deposit, your project goes into production. While lead times may vary, we can typically get started within a week to two weeks.

Step 6: Product Manufacture

All of our manufacturing is done in-house. Concrete moulds are created for each job, and every project is hand crafted by Chad and his team. Products are manufactured in accordance with approved drawings, colour and finish. Production times can vary according to style, size and finish, End-to-end production and install of a typical product (i.e., fireplace or range-hood surround) takes between six to eight weeks.

Step 7: Install

Once your product is complete, we will contact you to schedule an install date. Our skilled team will then come to your site to install your product. Installation for a typical surround can take anywhere from two to six hours, depending on the size of the product and site parameters. Cladding can be done in phases on site or all at once with most installs taking anywhere from a full day to a few weeks depending on the scope. Any clamps or shimming that are used to secure the product at install will be removed by us once the product has set and is deemed safe to do so.
